Description

Acquisition Professionals LLC is looking to fill an immediate position for a Functional Analyst for a current client. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual that can ensure all assigned tasks are completed as required, documented accurately, and communicated directly to the customers and management team. The job duties entail delivery and continued maintenance of a Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) program to achieve maximum value from the client’s existing IT investments and reduce hard-dollar IT expenditures, human resource overhead, and risks inherent in owning and managing software assets. Below are the position responsibilities, skills and qualifications.
 

  • Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders based on defined, specified requirements including quality or quantity of product(s), and schedule timeline for delivery
  • Gather, analyze, and research information from stakeholders to identify potential vendor offerings and services – perform market research
  • Develop documentation i.e. market research, Statements of Work (SOW), Justifications and Analysis (J&A), estimated cost analysis
  • Working knowledge of government financial management processes and concepts – tracking
  • Working knowledge of the government procurement contracting lifecycle
  • Administer the day-to-day operations for software baseline and maintenance licensees for stakeholders
  • Working knowledge and experience on tracking cost, invoicing, and creating procurement requisitions
  • Understanding of IT Asset Software and Hardware tracking databases for accuracy and functionality
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all processes and recommended process improvements
  • Assist government in IT data calls, management inquiries, and reporting
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports and metrics
  • Meet with vendors on product lines to determine best options and structure for customer
  • Provide detailed meeting minutes
  • Experience or working knowledge with one of the following product lines: (i.e., IBM, ORACLE, HP Enterprise, Adobe, McAfee, Veritas, CISCO, VMware, Informatica, Microsoft, Assistive Technologies (Section 508 Compliance), Subscription-Based Services, Public Source Data Collections, Cloud-Based Technologies, Geospatial Tools, and Encryption Tools)

Qualifications/Skill sets:

  • Must have active TS with eligibility for SCI, and be open to a CI-Poly as required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related technical field
  • 4+ years of associated work experience
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Solid and sound attention to details
  • Exceptional coordination skillsets with the ability and experience to track multiple tasks and projects to provide accurate status
  • Analyze existing systems and processes and make solid recommended process improvement and take the initiative to implement – forward thinker
  • Proficient-level use of Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
