Job Summary:
Provide DoD Travel System Functional, Operations and Sustainability. Support Government experience evaluating demands in coordination with customer representatives, transforming stakeholder requirements into logical business and technical views, analyzing trends in reported issues, and making recommendations for resolution. This includes experience with Agile project management concepts and processes.  Provide an in-depth understanding of system functionality and underlying DoD travel regulations and policies; requirements & analysis management; DTS issue reporting and escalation processes; DoD software development lifecycle processes and related change management; DoD/DTS Travel Best Practice/Business Rules, and Configuration Management (CM) Tool software application.  NOTE:  This position is a REMOTE opportunity contingent upon an anticipated contract award.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist the government with the implementation of new enterprise IT systems/solutions. This includes experience with Agile project management concepts and processes and change management strategy and concepts.  
  • Provide business analysis expertise including the development, implementation, and tracking of performance metrics, trend analysis, analysis of user feedback, and formulating recommendations for improvements to implementation and change management strategies and processes.     
  • Provide experience to assist with the development of government and/or commercial travel programs with the ability to draft comprehensive project plans, project charters, and or project/scope documents outlining the work to be performed, roles and responsibilities, and timelines with considerations for uncertainties and risk.  
  • Support the Government’s development and execution of an effective social media strategy to promote DTMO strategic initiatives, programs, and stakeholder engagement. 
     
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, must have an additional 5 years of DoD travel experience [10-year total].

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum five (5) years of DoD travel experience. 
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, must have an additional 5 years of DoD travel experience [10-year total].
  • Public Trust Clearance, a plus.
