NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract award and requires on-site presence at FBI facilities within the Washington Metropolitan Area/National Capital Region.


Job Summary: 
Acquisition Professionals LLC seeks an experienced Oracle/Apex Developer Resource to design, develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle APEX applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in Oracle Application Express (version 5.1 or higher), strong expertise in Oracle DDL syntax, and PL/SQL programming language. Familiarity and experience with Agile software development methodologies are required to efficiently collaborate within development teams and deliver high-quality results.



Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Build and test Zero-Based-Resource-Allocation (ZBRA)/Budget Administration Services Ensemble (BASE).
  • Write efficient, well-structured Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and DDL scripts.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, testing, and deployments.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and promptly resolve application defects and performance issues.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Oracle APEX applications with existing budget, procurement, or other relevant systems.
  • Develop detailed documentation for application functionality, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Continuously refine and enhance applications, addressing performance optimization and functional improvements.

Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated professional experience developing applications using Oracle Application Express (version 5.1 or higher).
  • Proficient understanding and extensive hands-on experience with Oracle DDL syntax and PL/SQL programming language.
  • Proven practical knowledge and experience working within Agile software development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain required security clearances (Top Secret - TS/SSBI).
