Job Summary:
To provide comprehensive procurement management services to federal organization to ensure that goods and services purchased by organization related to federal funds are obtained in a cost-effective manner and in compliance with applicable federal laws, including, but not limited to, the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards published by the Office of Management and Budget, which sets forth procurement standards that apply to direct federal funding and the Best Practice Guide for Procuring Services, Supplies and Equipment. 

Responsibilities:
  • Support and address ad-hoc procurement-related needs such as conducting outside research, preparing briefing, editing, preparing Statements of Work, templates, information compilation, and regulatory guidance.   
  • Support the Contract Specialist, Procurement Analyst, and stakeholders with procurement documentation.  
  • Drafting and Finalizing procurement documentation.
     
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field.  

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field. 
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience in technical procurement/acquisition/contract writing. This includes procurement documentation, manuals, briefings, reports, and templates.  
  • Experience in conducting procurement research and gathering data.  
  • Strong writing and editing skills to create clear, concise, and accurate technical procurement documentation.  
  • Ability to work within a team.  
  • Understanding of procurement processes and terminology, as well as familiarity with relevant software and tools.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
