Job Summary:
Acquisition Professionals LLC seeks a skilled and experienced Systems Security Administration (SSA) Team Lead to lead and manage system security administration personnel supporting federal government IT environments. This role involves managing account and access control processes, addressing complex IT security challenges, and ensuring compliance with federal security regulations and standards. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and maintain resilience and professionalism during sensitive or high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of System Security Administrators, overseeing daily operational tasks and ensuring high-quality performance.
- Provide expertise and guidance on account management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and system access procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security standards, policies, and federal regulations, including NIST 800-53 Rev, FISMA, FISCAM, DoD, DCID, and FBI security frameworks.
- Analyze, identify, and mitigate system security risks in complex IT environments.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of information technology security controls.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and team members to resolve security issues, address vulnerabilities, and facilitate smooth operations.
- Document security processes, incidents, and solutions clearly and accurately.
- Manage competing priorities effectively, responding promptly and efficiently during urgent and sensitive scenarios.
- Foster a positive, customer-friendly environment within the team, promoting collaboration and professional excellence.
- Proactively monitor and recommend improvements to security practices, policies, and procedures.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, or related fields required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), PMP, and CompTIA A+ certifications strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Information Security or IT Security roles.
- Minimum of 2 years specialized experience directly related to FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act) requirements.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience with federal IT security standards (NIST 800-53 Rev, FISCAM, FISMA, DoD, DCID, FBI security policies).
- Proven experience in an IT customer support environment, specifically in account and access management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands effectively.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain required security clearances (Top Secret - TS/SSBI).
