Job Summary:

Acquisition Professionals LLC is looking for a PART-TIME Administrative Assistant to support our client onsite in Washington, DC. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the client personnel by managing the file room, ordering and maintaining supplies, and performing other various administrative duties as described below.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Order and maintain supplies for office personnel, copiers, shredders, facsimile machines and other office equipment.
  • Manage the file room, to include retrieving files upon request, organizing existing files per the approved file plans, relocating boxes of files from one storage area to another, preparing older files for transfer to archive, and other file management activities at the direction of the COR.
  • Perform various administrative duties to include, but not limited to:
    • Greeting visitors and escorting or directing them to the appropriate individual being visited.
    • Managing, reserving, scheduling, and setting up conference rooms for personnel.
    • Assisting personnel in preparing for meetings (i.e., making copies, compiling briefing books etc.)
    • Arranging domestic/international travel and preparing travel vouchers in accordance with client’s policies and regulations.

Education/Certifications:
 

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience.


Required Qualifications:
 

  • Fully proficient in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
  • Work independently on complex tasks within established procedures associated with specific job functions.
  • Knowledgeable and experience using electronic media, including Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power-Point, etc.)
  • Excellent communications skills, oral and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
